God’s grace is enough for me and you — oh I know He’s going to pull us through.

Indescribable.

You know those times when you open your eyes and you’re too tired to even sit up? Or when you wake up immediately sick? Or you feel spiritually ill, physically ill, and emotionally ill and the day hasn’t even begun? Or those times when you feel drained and feel heartbroken when there is no reason why you should? What about those times when all this junk happens before 8am even hits? Well, it’s funny how quickly Satan goes to work after an amazing, spirit filled night. And why is he so quick to the gun? Because he is genuinely AFRAID! As a Christian it’s sweet that we can rejoice when Satan starts doing these things. And why rejoice? Because it means we’re doing something good in our faith and Satan can’t handle it! Praise God for the fact that we have an AMAZING, BIG, MIGHTY Father to go to in times of distress, pain, and suffering. Praise God for the fact that we have the Word of God that is powerful!

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

We praise a God that has already defeated Satan. We live for a God that is bigger than any ailment, thought, lie or broken heart that the Devil throws our way!

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3

It’s beautiful how God places people in our lives that are there to listen and help us through our hardships. But it’s even more beautiful that God gave us Jesus and that Jesus took those ailments, those sufferings, and those sins upon His shoulders and conquered death!

“But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5

We serve a mighty, just, but such a loving God. And that will never change. Rejoice in the fact that Satan is trying to attack you…because he’s trembling out of fear because he knows what our God is capable of and he knows what we are capable of through Him who strengthens us!

“Rejoice always,” 1 Thessalonians 5:16 (NIV)

“Be cheerful no matter what;” 1 Thessalonians 5:16 (MSG)

“Always be joyful.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16 (NLT)

I don’t know if you know or not, but I’ve recently released (alliteration) a CD entitled “psalmbird” which includes 6 (technically 7) completely new tracks! I spent a few weeks recording it (by which I mean every instrument) and it’s available for purchase at a lovely price of $5! Beautiful King. Loving Father. Forgiver; My God. It doesn’t matter what I do, it doesn’t matter how big I screw up, Jesus is there to pick me up. How great is that love, that He loved us WHILE we were still sinners? Not when we were “perfect” or “polished” but when we were imperfect and broken!

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

He is a loving, forgiving, and merciful God. He loves those who love Him; as well as those who do not. He has great plans for every single person but it’s our job to reach out and follow Him and His plans, for He gave us a choice.

“‘You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they were created and have their being.’” Revelation 4:11

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

You have a choice, but man am I happy I chose God.

Dear Readers,

I am more than happy to announce my first show in a significant amount of time. I am really excited for this particular show because of the joy God has been giving to me and the songs that God has been giving me lately. I am excited for what God has in store for that night because I know He’s going to do something big. I just want to encourage you all to come out and enjoy fellowship, pie, music, and really feel God’s embrace. 

I am pleased to announce that The Clay will be performing to begin the night. The Clay is made up of two sisters, Hailey Nelson and Taylor Nelson who are both passionate about God and music and the collaboration of the two together. You will not want to miss their performance. 

Admission is FREE and I will be selling T-SHIRTS for $15 that evening as well as my new CD PSALMBIRD for only $5. You may also enjoy a slice of pie for $1 and complimentary coffee and tea.
